Austropressen products are used all over the world. Development and production still take place entirely in Seewalchen. Many of our systems are now tailor-made products, manufactured to customer specifications. This results in exciting and varied areas of responsibility. The quality of our working atmosphere is also reflected in our low staff turnover and the many anniversaries we celebrate.

The company favours the use of energy-efficient and sustainable elements in its product development, as well as in its own facilities. Investment is ongoing, most recently in new CNC and laser cutting machines, modern hall ventilation, environmentally friendly LED lighting and energy-saving heating with heat recovery. A 5,000m³ photovoltaic system has recently been installed on some of the roofs. Our modern employee facilities include new changing rooms and washrooms, spacious break rooms and a rooftop terrace for relaxing during breaks.

At Austropressen, we place great value on a family-like working environment and strong in-house training. From day one, our apprentices are part of the team and directly involved in production – there is no separate apprentice workshop.
This is also reflected in our high employee retention: Around 65% of our production employees completed their apprenticeship at Austropressen or are currently undergoing training.
Many of our colleagues have been part of the team for decades. 20-year anniversaries are not uncommon, and we have even celebrated 30-, 40- and 45-year anniversaries.

The machines for our customers worldwide are developed, tested and produced entirely at our site in Seewalchen. Many of the machines are now customised products, which are designed and produced according to customer requirements. This results in exciting tasks and varied activities. The skilled workers can continue their training, particularly in the areas of design / CNC / control technology. All department heads have completed their apprenticeship at Roither Maschinenbau. Apprentice training in the areas of design, machining technology, mechanical engineering and metal construction technology is a top priority here! Nothing is as valuable to a company as many years of experience and sound expertise.
