The area of responsibility:
Development, programming, and further development of PLC controls and HMI visualizations using Siemens TIA Portal/Step7 as well as other systems (e.g. Allen-Bradley)
Development of customized automation and control solutions for machines and special-purpose machinery
Programming and integration of drives, networks, and other electrical components
Commissioning, testing, and simulation of machines and systems – both internally and on-site at international customer locations
Troubleshooting, fault analysis, and optimization to ensure reliable and high-performance operation of systems
Creation and maintenance of software libraries, technical documentation, and project-specific documentation
Technical coordination, customer support, and training, as well as assisting the service team with remote maintenance and system faults

Your profile:
Completed technical education in electrical engineering, automation technology, or mechatronics (apprenticeship, etc.)
Solid experience in PLC programming, ideally with Siemens SIMATIC / TIA Portal / WinCC
Knowledge of electrical engineering, sensors, and actuators, as well as experience in commissioning machines and systems
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, combined with a hands-on mentality
Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, sense of responsibility, and reliability
Good command of German and English
Willingness to travel for international customer visits and commissioning assignments (approx. 10%)
Interest in new technologies
The position offers a gross monthly salary starting at €3,400.00 (38.5 hours/week) plus bonuses. The position is subject to the collective agreement for the metalworking trade. The actual salary will be agreed upon jointly, taking into account professional experience and qualifications.
